Hand-built by Porsche’s Exclusive department, the Type 993 911 Carrera S was the final and ultimate expression of Porsche’s air-cooled era. A lineage stretching back to 1963. 

With the M495 widebody, wider track, wider wheels, lower ride height, rear wheel drive purity, 110kg lighter than the Turbo, distinctive twin-grille deck lid, detailed interior specification, strictly limited production numbers and the enhanced naturally aspirated Varioram 3.6L flat-six, the Carrera S earned instant cult status. 

Rare, beautiful and deeply rewarding to drive, demand far outstripped supply and re-sale prices exceeded Porsches RRP. 

Delivered new by Austral Motors Porsche (Porsche Centre Brisbane), August 1997 to famed entrepreneur, Xavier Carii this 911 Carrera S survives in outstanding, original condition. 

Specified in special order Ocean Blue Metallic (L3AZ) with its faint violet undertones over an all-Black (LT) extended leather interior, this rare car has travelled just 54,000 kilometres and features the following options:

Entirely unmodified and evidently well-maintained, on the road, this Carrera S feels firm and fast. There’s a solid, fresh feel right from when you first step inside with a crispness to the detail across all surfaces, commonly lacking in others.

On start up, the legendary air-cooled motor rushes into life, gear changes are smooth and swift, steering is well weighted and you sense this car is able to handle a lot more than you could ever throw at it. Exactly what you hope to find in a great 993.

Accompanied by its complete and original book pack documenting all service history, its most recent major service works were completed December, 2025 including oil, oil filter, brake fluid, spark plugs, cam cover gasket, exhaust manifold o-ring gaskets, and detailed checkover of all mechanical components.
