At the heart of the 996 Turbo lies the legendary 3.6-litre twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six, derived directly from the Le Mans-winning GT1 race car, a detail that remains a point of pride among engineers and Porsche purists. It delivers a ferocious 420hp through all four wheels, using a Porsche Traction Management (PTM) system that was years ahead of its time and undetectable in its delivery. 

Paired with a seamless shifting, F1 style 5-speed Tiptronic S transmission that allows the driver to switch between fully automatic mode and manual mode using steering wheel-mounted buttons, this powerful combination surges you through the 0-100km/h sprint in just 4.8 seconds.

But it’s not just the drivetrain and the well-preserved original condition that makes this Turbo special. The Lago Green Metallic paintwork, a deeply lustrous, almost iridescent shade elevates the car into rarefied air.
